Way Back Wednesday 1

Welcome to my Way Back Wednesday! I’ll be doing a 4 week flash back segment of my favorite quilts and sewing projects.

I am new to the blogging world and I have been visiting other sites to get ideas or inspiration. I got inspiration for these Way Back Wednesday segments from Fatty McCupcakes who did a Flash Back Friday post last week. If you haven’t checked out her blog, you should, she’s so funny.

For my first Way Back Wednesday I would love to share you with these Minecraft quilts I made. I made two of them for family friends, who are near and dear to my heart. Of course I only have one picture because I made these before I really started taking orders, so I wasn’t too interested in taking multiple pictures, but at least I have one right?

There it is! At the time this was my biggest quilt to date. I stitched in the ditch to quilt this. I seriously LOVE making pixelated quilts, as you will see in future Way Back Wednesday segments.

And I over calculated how much fabric I needed, go figure right? So I made each of them each a sword pillow. Which I love how they turned out. Again don’t mind my lack of photo skills, I made these quilts in roughly 2014.

They are pretty big pillows! I called them floor pillows. Because you could totally lay on the floor with them and play video games.

If you made any Minecraft quilts or projects I would love to see! Or if you made any pixelated quilts I would love to see them as well, they are my favorite!

Sew On,

  1. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Great work!
